Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Medical College is situated in Amravati, Maharashtra. The college was started by the Shri Shivaji Education Society in 1984. It is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. It is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. The institute is aimed at imparting medical education and producing well trained health personnel with social values.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized board. For SC/St the qualifying marks 40% is acceptable. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission, and not crossed the age of 35 years.
Post Graduate Diploma:
PG D.M.L.T.:
Students who have passed B.Sc. are eligible for PG D.M.L.T. course of M.U.H.S., Nashik.
DNB:
Students who have passed the preliminary exam conducted by D.N.B. are eligible as primary candidates. Students with diplomas or degrees are also eligible.
Other PG Diploma Courses:
Candidates must have qualified for the MBBS degree from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India and must have at least experience of 2 years in medically underserved areas, recognized as such by this institution.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Applicants are selected on the basis of MHT CET conducted by the state government for all the available UG courses.
Entrance Test: MHT CET
Post Graduate Diploma:
Applicants are selected on the basis of qualifying exam and as per the norms of university.
DNB Course:
Applicants seeking admission in DNB course must qualify the CET of the NBE.
Candidates are selected on the basis of merit obtained in qualifying exam and as per notified rules of college of Physician and Surgeon Mumbai.
