Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research (MIMER) is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The medical college was established in 1995 by the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education & Research (MAEER), which is a Society. The institution is located in Talegaon Dabhade, near Pune.
Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi, for conducting course in medical science. The medical college offers a Bachelor's degree course - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - with a capacity of enrolling 100 students for the same, every year. The candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, from any recognized Board.
The candidates need to appear in AMUPMDC CET (Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental College). After the examination, a merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the test.
